The East Range Police Department (ERPD) provides Public Safety services to the cities of Aurora and Hoyt Lakes, under the direction of the East Range Public Safety Board.  Formed in 2014, the ERPD began public safety services on 01/01/2015. 
 
The East Range Police Department consists of seven (7) sworn officers serving a total population of over 3,700.  ERPD is committed to community oriented policing and provides 24/7 police services for both communities of Aurora & Hoyt Lakes.
